keyboards and mice this time!
What are everyone's experiences of desktop machines with wireless keyboards and mice?
I quite like the standard shape MS mice, not the logitech spaceship mice and I'd rather not have a KB with the numeric pad, but it's not the end of the world.
What's the best 'wireless' format? bluetooth or otherwise?
Suggestions please

Wireless mice eat batteries - I swear you can hear the damn things sucking the juice out of them... Okay I've just pictured a really weird picture there but what the hey.
Bottom line - have spare batteries available - rechargeables will save a fortune.
I personally find bluetooth better as you really have NO wires - the wireless sets have a USB connected receiver on the desk as well.
The only problem with BT is that it can take a couple of secs for the keyboard / mouse to wake up and they do drop connections and require a re-sync.
Pop over to Overclockers you can get combo kits which save you some money

I use Duracells...they last longer than rechargeables.

Yea rechargeables aren't designed for small/low power devices such as mice, I also have a Logitech MX3200 laser mouse n KB, usb set. Btw you can plug the USB receiver directly into usb port on the rear of a pc, so no need for the desktop cradle thing and no wires. Range is excellent to.
