XP SP3 i think you mean - DL'd it last week, doesn't add anything apart from some annoying settings by all accounts - not come across them myself though.

Who let Dr Who in to the Forum?

Well this means that I can finally get round to rebuilding my laptop. I've been waiting for SP3 before doing so.

Why? It's a great OS. Using it on 4 pcs now with no problesm whatsoever, and it's been more reliable than XP for me so far

Installed it this morning then had to uninstall it after the computer gave up, got into safe mode but wouldn't start up normally, unistalled it and the computer run fine

I'm hoping for good things from SP3. I'm bored of reinstalling people's computers with SP2, and then having to wait for 100+ updates to come down.

Yes, I know I could slipstream some of those updates, but that takes an age and rapidly goes out of date. It will be so nice to have a slipstream XP SP3 disk that just gets a machine going

You can download the ISO of XP SP3 can't you?

I've got the 300+Mb d/l and a SP2 CD; I'll slipstream later so I can finally rebuild my laptop
