Java and Launchanywhere Files,Please Help!

Default Java and Launchanywhere Files,Please Help!

Hi,
I have Football manager 2008 but when i go to click the desktop icon or try to uninstall it it syas the launchanywhere file is missing. I have heard that if i unistall the whole of the java setup on my comp and install it again it should get launchanywhere file back. Can someone please confirm this and please tell me how i can unistall java and how o get it back. I really miss FM 2008, please help guys,

Hmmm, I'd start with a more simple first step. Put the CD back in and try and install the game, not uninstall. Once installed, that file may come back.

I doubt your Java setup has anything to do with it. You could try it if you wanted to. Go to add/remove programs, unistall Java. Then make sure you reboot. Install and reboot once again. Don't miss out the reboots......

It wont even let install it or play the game at all.I tryed add/remeove programs and removed java and reinstalled java again but no luck
