GTA IV PS3 Loading problems
I'm having mega problems getting my copy to load, it loads up normally going through all the cut sceans with the bird sucking the lollypop, then it goes to the black screen where it says loading and the previous mission, but thats it, it won't load any further i've turned it off at the back took the disc out but it still won't load the game up, i've tried my other games and the ps3 loads them up as normal, do you think i have a problem with my disc or my console ?

It a problem with the rockstar servers while they sort it out.
To fix it, before you launch the game, log out of PSN, and then start the game - Everything will then work fine.

Because you are always "Online" when connected to PSN within the game. Single player or not.
The very fact that signing out of PSN fixed the problem (which by the way, doesn't exist now, it works fine without having to sign out) points directly to an online issue.
