Default Monitor Advice - Macbook

friend of mine wants to buy a new monitor for use with a Macbook. On ebuyer some state Mac Compliant, is there anything specific or will any monitor work assuming a VGA connection?

Anything will work. Try and get DVI though, if its a new Macbook it should be a DVI socket, some monitors dont come with the cable either.
Check the Mac book extends the desktop rather than mirroring, Im sure it does but worth a check.

Thanks Rich, yes DVI will be purchased. Need to get a stupid Mini DVI adapter!
