I bought a set of black ones from scan ( i think they're still on offer on the website) for £10. Very nice they are too. Not had any problems and most people I know who use them dont have problems either.

Just put a set into a low end server using an IDE ATA100 RAID controller with 2 x 20 and 2 x 120GBs as two RAID 1 arrays.

Also got one in one of our servers at work with 2 x 40GB in a RAID 1. Has been fine for a month or two now.

Looking good so far.

http://www.overclockers.co.uk sell them. Not sure if they are good on price for the cables, I use them 'cos they are local.
