Default Adobe Acrobat

Guys, whats the difference between the standard and professional versions of acrobat?

I need to buy a copy- I've messed about with the cheap editors of ebay for a while now but the text editing is far too clunky.

Any suggestions as to which version is the 'best buy' ?

Cheers..

With the professional version you can edit documents, change text etc, as well as many other features.

Recently supplied this to a customer who is using it to scan in many health and safety documents (they use to fill them out by hand writing them) amongst other things. Now they scan them in, open them in Adobe and fill out the forms then e-mail the pdf's out.

Worked well. You can download a full working trial version for 30 days to test it - Adobe - Adobe Acrobat 8 Professional 30-day trial

We tested a few products for our customer as it's not something we have really got involved in before but adobe produced the best results. It's not cheap at around £400 but I guess you get what you pay for when it comes to this type of product!
