Unhappy F**king iTunes keeps crashing my laptop!

Last Thursday I accidentally clicked 'Yes' when the box came up asking me if I wanted to install the latest version of iTunes, now I've got Apple's browser messing my internet connection up because it has a hissy fit if I don't select it as my default, and every time I try to upload a CD (4 times with 4 different CDs) iTunes keeps crashing the computer

If I do a system restore, will I get the old version back?

The laptop is an Acer running Windows XP by the way.

CrisPDuk, if you do a search on here you'll see threads about alternatives to iTunes.

I hate iTunes with a vengeance, as its designed (not surprisingly) around the Apple OS. You can however get alternatives that are designed around the PC eg. copy and paste, drag and drop.

I'm sure there's a few on here that can advise.
