Default Converting Protected WMA Files

I've just bitten the bullet and bought myself an IPOD, problem is that some of my music that I have downloaded onto my mobile phone is protected WMA format so it won't play on the IPOD.

I-tunes won't convert it because it is protected.

Can I get some software that will allow me to either unprotect these files or convert them manually to an IPOD compatible format.

Have a look at this and see if it'll do what you want.

Wow, it looks like it does what I want, but how many fixes does it need before I can get it to work

Need to put an evening aside and decide whether or not it's worth it for 40 tracks

One other question, where did you purchase the protected files from? It's possible there might be a specific DRM removal tool for that type of DRM, rather than having to use a generic on.
