Question Ideas - networking

Hello,

I need to be able to force an IP device to be plugged in via our "box" (the box has other stuff in we need, and we need to make sure the external consultancy has to use that box). If the IP device is plugged directly into the Cisco router it must NOT work/communicate back to the server!!

We have no control over the Cisco router, it is just VPN'd to our HQ. The customer's IS Dept will set these up. An external security company will be installing the IP devices we need to force to use our box for comms.

The first way I thought of doing this is to have the Cisco lan sat in a different subnet to the IP device, and then sit a managed switch in our box to route between the 2 subnets. I am not sure how this will work with communications to our server sat at HQ (over the VPN) tho??

Code:
     HQ (e.g. 192.168.52.x)
      | VPN
  Cisco Router
      | (e.g. 192.168.10.254)
      | (e.g. 192.168.10.253)
   Our Box
      | (e.g.10.1.1.254)
      | Device (e.g. 10.1.1.15)
Any other ideas?
