What the best PC driving game thesedays
Whats out there that is good
Always used to play EA F1, but I think they lost the license years ago (or wouldnt pay the extortinate renewal costs for an official version
And Richard Burns Rally was the last Rally game I played
It will primarily be for use on a laptop tho 64 bit AMD Turion with ATI X1250 Gfx Card and 4Gb Ram(not an ideal games machine I know, but I do have a half decent steering wheel )

Yup, GTR2 and/or GT Legends get my vote....
...as real, and almost as difficult, as Richard Burns is when it comes to car sims!
Only really should be used with a good Logitech wheel (DFP or similar)...

I havent had chance to try the mods yet, only had a quick go of it in work the other day
I do have RBR and a nice Logitech Momo wheel, but I have a problem with it, in that I replaced the spring in the brake pedal for a squash ball to get progressive feel braking and I keep failing the driving school on RBR as the brake pedal now doesn't fully go off and stays on about 1% so I need to find the original spring or buy some new squash *****
