Arrow iTunes Problem

Now and again when I rip a cd to iTunes it gets saved in My Music Library as 3 or 4 albums.

For instance, an 11 tracked album will be divided up with the first album having 2 tracks, the seconds 7, the third 2 etc

Does this make sense ? Is there anyway I can stop it happening or "merge" the albums together ?

Also if iTunes can't find artwork is there another way of finding it and pasting it ?

And finally (!) once an album is in my Music Library how can I copy the complete album into my iPod without dragging every single track across ?

Many Thanks

Cue the " i love "I" products emails, best things since sliced bread etc..

usuually get the "when connected to a mac" comment in there as well.

in truth, it may well work wonders when connected to a mac, but "wozniak (sp)" & co, should have worked out by now, that 90% of owners. users have PC's, and rewritten the front end to suit.

If you find the artwork from any other site, just copy it (save as) and paste it on the blank space in itunes where the album is, it should update and give the artwork picture.

80% of the time the itunes online search and artwork function works, but other times (more often than not) it wont update the artwork, if your readiing this Mr Jobs, do something about it!!!!

I hate itunes with a vengance, its worse than MS for ***** waving.

WHY WHY WHY do you have to have quicktime installed to use Itunes??

and why the **** does QT insist on being the default movie application, despite you saying otherwise?

Right click on each track and select get info. Just make sure the album section for each track are the same. Same goes for artist.

To move them all across at once hold ctrl while highlighting the files you want then drag selection over onto your iopd

Ignore mart, he has issues
right
sometimes itunes will split an album depending on how gracenote (the online music database) sees the album or there are odd gaps between tracks. if it does this you can rename the tracks manually to make them all as one album by clicking on the tracknames/album names to reorder them

you can get loads of artwork from amazon etc

you should be able to select the top most track, hit shift and then click on the last track to select just the list you want or use the control and click.

Also check the sorting. Do have it listed by "Artist" or "Album Artist"? They can be different.
