just had to format my hdd,
and do a new windows install

i have backuped the files and programs,
but programs aren't recognised,

how do i get them all back without reinstalling them all over again..
i have lost my office 2007 cds

 

It is very difficult to get back programs as they tend to write 'rubbish' all over the place. Most of the time the only option is to re-install.

2nd question

i have 3 internal hdd, when my master sata one went dead i used a master ide to temp install windows to do a backup of the sata drive
now my sata one is fine, it keeps booting the windows from the ide one


i looked at bios and sata one is the first to boot, but it still doesn't work
