Portal > Just finished
well I held off buying the orange box because I was up to my eyeballs in Forza again. Got it in my local Asda at the weekend started palying portal yesterday. That is one of the best games I have ever played
The android voice had me LOL a few times. The puzzles were good but not too taxing on the grey matter.

mmm, cake!
I agree that some of the things Glados sad were rather amusing, plus the song "Still Alive" at the end was rather well done. I think Aperture Science is meant to make an appearance in Half Life 2 - Episode 3 (if I recall the ship seen in the portal is something to do with AS)

I really liked Portal. Tried to get my GF to play as a means to learn FPS games but she finds the controls too hard to get used to.
Start playing Team Fortress and lose hours!

never played any of the halflife games so just started Halflife 2 this afternoon. It's all a bit run and no gun until now so I hope it gets better.

Yep. I really enjoyed Portal too and I never thought that it would have such a twist in it. The end credit song is just plain awesome! you can hear it on Youtube, but I don't want to spoil it here.

If you like HL2, then you must have a look at the minerva:metastasis mod. It's very, very well written and implemented.
