ipod videos
which format do you use to add movies to the ipod video??? also which folder do you put them in for the ipod to see them ?? I was looking in itunes and I could't see anything that would manually let me add them !!! I also used Im TOO ipod transfer and copied over 2 movies files one was in mp4 format and the other was in quicktime and none were recognised ??

I think movies have to be in MP4 format for the iPod (typically at a size of 320 x 240). As for folder to put them in, if you're talking about directly copying them to the iPod as a disk then I don't think that will work, you'll need to use iTunes.
As for how to add them in iTunes, the "Add To Library" option under, I think, the file menu, should allow you to import them.

The movies have to be in MP4, and if you use this Videora iPod Converter - Free iPod Video Converter it automatically adds the movie to Itunes.
(to do it manually, I just do File/Add)
