has anyone seen the size of the damn thing, you don't really notice it online, but in front of you gee. i'm sure they use them to build houses.
we have them at pcworld now. pop in and have look if you don't believe me.
is that the biggest gaming pc on the market now?

I have an XPS laptop! Perfectly reasonable size considering the power and big GFX card. THe desktops are a bit chunky aren't they!
They'll be good systems though, so if you have the space, a wise purchase!

PCWorld selling Dell I thought Dell's ethos was to never let someone resell their products It used to be part of their marketing slogan that you would not see Dell in the shops to keep costs down.

I have just bought a Dell Vostro 1700 (17" Widescreen) - and its huge!!
Doesn't bother me though as I keep it downstairs, don't care how big/heavy it is.
Cracking deal on the Vostros.
3Gb Ram
Core 2 Duo 2Ghz
256Mb 8600 GT
160 Gb SATA
etc.
£592 all in

My Local Tesco has Dell PC's for sale among the Acer laptops and HP Pavillion stuff. Nothing on display just a brown cardboard box with a printed label of the contents.
Next time I'm in I'll check the price and see how it compares to their website LOL

according to our intranet sites, the pcworld systems are superior to tescos one,
they are selling the cheaper ones (which will hit people on tight budgets)
we are selling the expensive ones
i was the first person to sell a dell here
tried hard to convince the customer to stay away from the quad core advent and get the quad core DELL
much superior and it has an lcd screen on top, where you can play solitaire lol
how cool

the one i sold was over £800 only base unit, its a xps 420
the xps gaming one that we got on display ( i think its called a 720 xps)
base unit is over £1200 ( i think )
theres gonna be another xps 720 h2c soon and thats well ridiculously priced. (over £2k i think)
and then theres the gaming laptop i'm yet to see thats over £1600
btw.. we're giving away laptops (basic ones)and heavy discounts on laptops..(good ones)
with mobile broadband contract..on "three"
i'm kinda excited and wanna sell one... but the process is long and complicated. over 20 pages long
