Default Nintendo Wii - connect to TV via COMPONENT cable

Is anyone doing this ?

My brother emailed tonight - In terms of connecting the Wii to his TV, the only input left is the component input, so he went and bought the cable for his Wii, but says he can't get a picture.

To any Wii owners, does he have to enable anything in the Wii's configuration screens ?

Is he using a Scart, AV or the YPBR sockets?
Dont think WII can connect to the YPBR Sockets, only XBOX 360.

Hope this helps

Cool

You have to go into Wii Settings, then TV Type and set it to 480P (the bottom one)

The picture is crisper, but if it's any better, I don't know
