Default PSP Homebrew Q

Hi guys

I have a OE 3.52 PSP and I want to roll it back to stick a custom firmware on there for homebrew stuff.....

I have a Pandora's Battery

and that's it. From what I can gather, I need a homebrew-capable machine to create an IPL file? Is that right?

My problem is I don't have another PSP to utilise.

Can anyone assist me please?

Ta

Steve

I think you just need to convert it to CFW, I`m a bit out of touch with PSPs now, I do have however a 1.50 uk version and a 3.02CFW jap version. I always use the guides here,
Redirect
But as is said follow them word for word

Last time I checked it was only up to 3.50 that could be downgraded with a Pandora.
Saying that, I done a slim which was 3.50+, if I recall.

Good, last time I read about the pandora battery it was new and enabled you to unbrick a bricked PSP, didn`t know it could be used to downgrade as well.

Searched through my regular links.
I think it can be done.
Here is a link for one guide that you might be able to use:

I attempted to downgrade my PSP for homebrew but I got to the same point as Burr.

Thought you needed a downgraded PSP in order to complete the process.

Its much harder than the DS to fiddle!

Edd

Catch me on MSN or similar - I have a memory stick image that I can send you if you like? As long as you have a Pandora battery, it will work as long as you complete the process methodically.

I'm now on 3.80 M33 with a 4GB Memory stick Pro duo

And you don't need a modified PSP with my method
