Anyone got a speedtouch 585 v.6 to get rid of???
As above,i'm after the speedtouch 585 version SIX wireless router.They come free as an upgrade with some ISP's (Tiscali etc).Must be complete package please...

Have just bought a laptop for home.The old modem that im using is ancient,so thought it would be a good time to upgrade to wireless.
Also,prices for routers in shops are stupid and i dont need anything fantastic.The 585 has good reviews.Keep missing them on e-bay...

A BE box is set up for BE, you would need to do a factory reset before you use it for non BE connection.
All people will give you advice about routers (me included
)
Most on here swear by Netgears, others Draytek..
Ive got 2 netgears, not impressed. A Belkin, works ok. and the BEbox, ok as well,
it depends what you want to do, if its just straight internet connection, then any of the above will suffice.
if you want to media stream, then the belkin & the Bebox work for me, the netgears however wouldnt ?
Others have the netgears streaming with no probs
