Default Do I need a new Graphics card?

Building a PC, quad core.. 4GB memory..

I have a 7950GT do I need to up grade ?

Will I gain anything from paying out or will my card do the jobby ??

opinions ?

Depends what you are doing.

I've gone from a 7900 GT to a 3870 (similar spec rig) and there was a huge difference in Crysis & Cod4.

I'm still on XP, so not seen the DX10 goodies yet. . ..

See I have £600 to buy:

A motherboard
CPU
Memory
Harddrive
DVD RW
and if needed the Card ... so its all about needs

I'd not bother with gfx if that's the case.

Sit tight on the 7950 for 6 months and upgrade then

If I was buying a new graphics card, I'd most likely get a 8800GT. I'm making do with my ATI 1950 for now though.

I'd get a bigger hard disk though. 36GB is nothing these days (or is that a typo?).

Think they do a 120gb raptor now though its like 200 quid
