dont think so mate. though they are thinking of doing it.
A wii online is not exactly online, rather online to the wii network, so you can see the weather, buy the missus some rubbish on the wii shopping etc
you can also download (pay for though), the wii opera browser, so you technically you can broswe t'internet, but god knows why ??

I've seen the Wii online thing, and it's a plie of ****. I was more referring to FPS games, that kind of thing. Like you can with PS2 and Xbox ?
I've seen the opera browser upgrade, and yes, I agree, a pointless idea to use a games console to browse the web. The Wii is connected to the telly in the living room, and the missus may take umbridge if I started chocking the turkey during the commercial break of Corrie

A few games yes - Mario Strikers charged, pokemon battle revolution, Opera is free if you downloaded the beta.
To be honest Wii is all about having people in the same room as you rather than online play.

Ah, good point. I'll make sure she uses the wrist strap though, don't want to risk the old man being thrown through the telly, it's a brand new flat screen
So it seems I am stuck with football or pokemon. jesus!

Super Mario Galaxy is pure unadulterated platform gaming heaven - Absolutely fantastic game.
Resi 4 is one of the best games ever released, its a third person adventure shooter (with the emphasis on shooting)
SOnic & Mario at the olympics is a great multiplayer game (bit of a pain to unlock the events in single player though)
And Zelda is an epic adventure
The best thing, is that all of them amke fantastic use of the WiiMote/nunchuck and all of the sudden the Wii makes perfect sense.

Am aware of Resi and zelda, I did most RE on the PS2 or game cume, and zelda on the 64. Am currently playing zelda twighlight princess on the Wii, but wasn't aware of anything online?
I also got umbrella chronicles, wich looked good when it came out of the christmas wrapping but plays terribly! I think I'll bin it on ebay and get res4, she'll never know
can't say I've ever been a fan of platform games, except for perhaps rayman...

Sorry, none of those games are online, they are just great games.
To be fair, calling Mario galaxy just a "platform game" is like calling a Bugatti Veyron "just a car"

I absolutely refuse to buy that bloody game again. I have bought 4 versions of it so far (Mario Kart, Mario Kart 64, Super Mario Kart, Mario Kart ouble Dash) and they have gotten progressivly worse than the sublime original
