Default Ripping Music from a DVD?

A question to the most knowledgeable Scoobynet community.

I have got a DVD that I would like to rip the music track from and convert to Wav or MP3 so I can burn it and play it in the car.

Is it possible? If so how and what software (preferably free) is needed?

thanks

This works well for me:

DVD Audio Extractor -- Full featured DVD audio ripper for your easy use

30 day trial should do the job for you.
