Unhappy IE 7 - how do I go back to 6?

Made the mistake of permitting the auto-update to IE 7.0.

"Encountered an error and has to close" about every fourth click now

Anyway I can uninstall and go back to 6? ISTR MS don't like making that an easy option.

Unfortunately I'm still working off my XP 2003 CD so I wouldn't like to install it off that

Thanks
Brendan

OK I'm not a fan of IE 7.0 on xp - seems a bit better on vista. Interestingly had the same error on ie 6 recently turned out to be a update that has messed up my pc - removed the update and its all fine !

Interesting. I find IE7 running faster than IE6 on XP (32-Bit). You need to bare in mind that most security updates MS put out now-a-days are mainly for IE7.
