Default Synchronising Outlook POP servers over several computers

I posted a thread on this a while ago. Basically I said I wanted to be about to have POP mail delivered to outlook to both a desktop computer and also a laptop. I wanted the mails to be synced on both machines, along with the calendar and contacts.

While IMAP was discussed, that only syncs emails. Exchange was mentioned, but was a reasonably costly exercise.

I just came across a little program, and will be trying it out. If others have already used it and found it does nasty things, please save me the pain

dont u just tell the laptop to "leave a copy" on the server? and then the PC and the laptop pick up the same e mails? This is done in Outlook account settings.

Yeah, you can do that. However, that does not sync sent items, contacts or calendars.
