I bought OXM magazine to read about this last weekend as I too loved the original game, except maybe at the end when you had to run through Marshmallow mans legs and it had to be timed to perfection 
Its looking like its just a third person shooter rather then the mix the original had, but visually its looks good - lets hope it is.

It looks great from the footage, they better make sure that Ecto 1 has the correct sirens!
