plugged my other pc into my sky broadband router today only to find that i cant get the internet on it
i got my laptop wired into port 1 and my pc wired into port 2 on the router
before the pc was plugged in the lappy was fine
so i cant get internet when both are plugged in
both are set to obtain ip address automatically
but if i take the pc out the lappy is fine but if i take the lappy out i still cant get the pc on the net
when they are both in they are showing in the netgear login page

is there any other settings i need to use or change

Sky routers are sh1te, my mates popped within 24hrs, he flashed it to get his username and password, then bought a netgear one and its been fine, the only problem with this is sky dont like it so dont tell them!

I'd say whatever the problem is, it lies with th PC you plugged in. If you buy another router, it might not solve the problem.

Try using the cable from your laptop with the PC and vice versa. Try plugging the PC and laptop into other ports on the router.
