Default Which broadband supplier?

We're just about to move house so I am going to be looking at a new provider. I can get the alleged 8Meg maximum but not sure who do go with. I was looking at Sky simply because it seems a good deal and I can bundle it with my existing sky channel package. A friend was raving about BT but having compared those tow on adslguide they are on a par.

How would you go for? Sky, BT or someone else altogether? Reliability is more important than speed.

If you can get Sky LLU one assumes you can have their upto 16Mbps service, if they provide the ADSL via a normal BT line you'll get stung for 17ppm and not one of their special deals.

I've moved to PlusNet recently from Nildram (now Tiscali of course) and I must say PlusNet's support team have been great. They do lots of horrid port throttling but if that makes a good gaming connection I'm happy. I had an issue with Race07's lobby and now that port is high priority gaming traffic. Works a treat
