After having my xbox 360 back for a couple of weeks after "The Ring of Death" repair , my xbox has just died again another ring of death.Any legal types out there? Can I demand a new console as the repair they have carried out has not been satisfactory????? Thanks

It's only my opinion, but I've owned both a wii and a 360, just got a ps3 and I must say I'm really impressed, better than the 360, totally different type of game play as opposed to the wii. Gets the thumbs up from me

depending on how long you've had your 360 away for repair if its over 28 days away in total and the problem you've got is ongoing you can ask for a replacement model as opposed to a repair. Most cases microsoft will send out a new one to yourself. But kick up a fuss and get some compensation tell em "my lil johnny hasnt been able to play on his machine he's gutted and we got him a new game for his birthday" usually makes them feel bad lol

When ours broke for the 3rd time, i asked if i could have a new one as i wasnt confident a 4th repair would work. They sent a new one. Im pretty sure the law states after a 3rd repair you can insist on a new item. Dont hold me to that tho.

Yep mines failed for the second time. Alright on the dashboard, but crashes as soon it does anything with 3d graphics.

Mines also gave up the ghost of late works ok most of the time off line but as soon as i play online i just keep getting the message that it carn't read the disc and try to wipe it even though it's a near enough brand new disc.

I wanted to get in quick to get a 60GB one as they are being discontinued very soon so alot of places no longer have them. I got mine from Gameplay (with resistance and motorstorm for £349), only other place I found that had stock and the offer with those two games was toys r us.

Most of those I already have (or will be getting) on the 360, so there's no incentive to go out and spend £350 on a paperweight. Of the exclusive titles, R&C only looked valguely interesting, (and that isn't exactly stunning from what I've seen so far). I must admit that uncharted looks good, but it's not worth buying a console for 1 game...
