Replacement DVD-RW Drive (Laptop)
Looks like my QSI DVD-RW has packed up on my laptop. Anyone on here got any views with regard to a suitable replacement unit and where to buy? I assume I can remove the silver bezel/facia on the current drive and attatch to the new when I slot it in. Are they all universal fit?

the facias do come off, but the eject button might be in a diffferant place. But you can by them from dabs, as a couple of companies have started selling the seperatly now. It will be listed as a slimline dvd writer. The one I bought is in the centre so not compatible with my current facia but i`m not that bothered any way , only got it as a spare in case my other one days while i`m away from home.
