Default Virgin Media and HD - Pimmo?

Has anyone successfully managed to upgrade to V+ from normal V for anything less than £150?

Having just sat on hold for 15 minutes and giving up I wondered if there were any tips on getting it cheaper.

How will high definition programmes be available to watch?
  • High definition broadcast channels
Various broadcasters are planning to launch high definition channels, with our V+ service we offer the following:
    • BBC HD
Includes live sports coverage, plus spectacular series like Planet Earth as well as other documentaries and dramas.
HDTV

Is it right that they are only offering 1 HD channel ?

Yeah tell them Sky is offering it for free and you want to know how much notice you give on cancelling your contract.
