Question Java Script

Sometimes I get a You Tube message saying I have Java Script turned OFF and so I can't watch a video.

So how do I turn this ON please? I assume it's on my XP machine but I can't find an icon. I update Flash etc when told to. TIA, david

You enable javascript through your browser. Which browser are you using, Internet Explorer 7?

Thanks for that. Yes IE 7.

BTW since posting I found a free download for a Java check/scan and it found hundreds of "problems" and listed them all out. Wouldn't fix them unless I paid so I closed it. Should this be of any concern? PC seems to be running fine. david

Works a treat - you're a knight of the computer age. Thanks

PS. The registry cleaner I tried says I have 751 problems. Anything safe and free which will zap these?

David,
I'm pretty sure Spybot Search & Destroy will cleanse the registry of any nasties, and Ad-Adware probably does the same too. Well worth installing and running one of them

Thanks Markus,

In fact I had a recent blitz using Ad-Aware and Spybot to clean things up so I think the "new" problems were missed by them. But may be I have no need to worry as all is running well? I also use NOD 32 as a trial which seems OK so far. dl
