Default A long shot this.

Today I was deleteing some .mq files that had build up in the msmq folder on a virtual server. When I came to restart the message queue service it failed to start as I had deleted some files I should not have Is there any way to recover these files ? they are not in the recycle bin. I do not have admin rights on the box so cannot reinstall the message queue service as per the microsoft website. I can get it sorted by another team tomorrow (I hope) but just wondered if anyone knows a fix/recover the files that will save me the embarrassment of telling team lead that I fooked up.

I found GetDataBack for NTFS from Data Recovery Software - File System Utilities to be very good in recovering deleted files. But it does take a bit of time (hours) to recover your harddisk.
