I've had a SE K750i for the past few years and one of the most useful features is the built-in led torch. The phone is getting a bit long in the tooth now and I'm looking to replace it with something more up to date and preferably with a better camera but it has to have a torch function.

Any ideas?

The later phones (K800 and K810) changed to Xenon flash, so done away with the ability to turn on the photo light.

Maybe some of the W series phones use the older light?

Failing that you might have to try a different manufacturer.

My w850i has a light.

Only able to turn it on with camera tho. .

BlkKnight - you can probably turn it on in the options somewhere - you can with my W800 anyway - it can be switched On fully, On for 1 minute or will flash SOS

It has come in useful in the past believe it or not, especially when walking back from the pub at night in the dark

i have a nokia n73,i downloaded a program called s60spoton and it allows me to use the phone as a torch using the screen or the flash

That sounds pretty handy, I have a N73 (soon to upgrade to N95) and miss the torch on my old K750i - do you have a link to download it ? Thanks.
