Default Valve - The Orange Box & TF2 Beta on Monday

Valve have released on Steam the "Orange Box" for $52.00. The FT2 beta will be available to those who buy the orange box.

It contains:
Half-Life 2 $29.95
Half-Life 2: Episode One $19.95
Half-Life 2: Episode Two $29.95
Portal $19.95
Team Fortress 2 $29.95

The best thing is - if you already own HL2 and/or HL2 ep1 you can gift the duplications to a friend.

Presumably the EP2 is pre-load? It's not released until 10 Oct is it?

It's $44 if you pre-order

They've been a little shady pricing ep2 at $30 tho, making you buy the package as a better alternative and thus spending more than you need to, Ep2 is just an add-on and should be $19 same as ep1, i've already got hl2 and ep1 and the idea of gifting it is ok, in reality aint gonna happen

i was going to order this tomorow mainly for TF2

Dont think il bother now with fortress forever being released. I really enjoyed playing the original & from the videos of TF2, fortress forever seems to be much more like the original compared to TF2 which looks like the increadibles running around with guns.

Seems I'm not alone in thinking TF2 looks as though The Incredibles forgot about their superpowers and decided to pick up a few guns and go postal

Hope not, PC players are at a far bigger advantage using a mouse over a joypad.
