NAS and Router Recommendations
Hi
Looking for some advice/recommendations on a Network Attached Storage unit and a ADSL router.
I'd like the NAS to have 300+ Gb of storage, the more the better, USB 2 etc.
The router, wireless, at least two USB2 etc.
Currently I have the printer and external storage connected to the main PC, its a pain as we need the main PC switched on to print, get access to the offline storage.
The setup i'd like is to be able to plug the the printer and NAS into the router, so i dont need to power up the main PC.
Or is there any other options ?
Cheers

Expensive, but superb router.. Broadbandbuyer.co.uk | Draytek Vigor 2800G 108Mbps Super G Firewall VPN ADSL 2/2+ Wireless Router
This ethernet NAS drive is 500GB
dabs.com - LaCie 500GB Ethernet Disk Mini Gigabit NAS (301138EK)
you may beable to search for cheaper prices on both, or diff size / spec on the NAS but these are ideally what you are looking for.

As an alternative to NAS, what about a linksys slug for storage?
You can dangle much cheaper USB drives off it and if you're into it, hack and get a linux build on it.
Amazon.co.uk: Linksys NSLU2UK Storage Link for USB 2.0 Disk Drives: Electronics & Photo

Broadbandbuyer.co.uk | Buffalo TeraStation Pro II 1.0TB Network Storage - TS-H1.0TGL/R5
and awesome but expensive
Broadbandbuyer.co.uk | Netgear ReadyNAS NV+ 1TB Gigabit Network Storage (4x250GB) - RND4425
another vote for the Draytek router also

Avoid the entry-level NetGear SC101 or SC101T - dire product. You have to install their software on PC (no using UNC paths).
Not looked at the ReadyNAS kit but IIRC it's a company NetGear bought-out so should hopefully be a better product!
