I've been getting into this a bit recently. Its not quite as hardcore as counterstrike but not as totally unrealistic as UT.

ie you don't immediately respawn but have to wait for a cycle of deployment.

If we get enough interest I'll setup a server for it.

Recently bought RTCW and am juts working through the single player bit. Willing to give multiplayer a go

Question

Hi

Also just working through the single player mode but am having trouble getting past the final super soldier at the end (i think)

Doh !

Was thinking the graphics were ****e compared to the Single player. Later discovered that MP defaukts to 640x480. Put it to the same settings as SP (1024x768) seems much better now

Still dont know wtf is happening though - the maps are quite large

Anyone tried it on 56k or ISDN? One of the guys on i-chat said it laaags big style on anything less than cable or DSL. Boo-hoo!

I've got the full version. From one brief go over the weekend ISDN seemed just fine (ping was about 50/60). There were several people playing with pings > 100 which I took to be 56K modem people.

The super soldier isn't the end (The dogy weedy german who then releases the big cyborg soldier)... wont say anymore than that...

if you want me to tell you how I did it mail me offline.

Still dont enjoy it online.. may try again though
