Why does Scoobynet unread marks disapear using IE

it doesn't fix the problem, but whenever i "open a thread", i do so by right-clicking and choosing "Open in a New Window", so the index page effectively remains untouched (thus fixing the symptoms).
Another benefit is that you can kick off a thread opening which may take a while to down-load (especially with pictures), whilst you are reading another thread that is open in another window!

you could try Tools/Internet options, then on the general tab temporary internet files/settings and choose never you'll have to automactically refresh every page you got to though.

Seems far worse tonight, I used to get it sometimes but tonight it's happening almost all the time. Not only when using the back button.
