Well i finally got it set up, and took some photo's

sorry about the quality, hard to juggle the camera etc, and the black is hard to get the auto focus to work









Not to keen on the black controller, once its seen close up, I think the insert, should have been silver , as per the standard 360

HDD wise, 105 gigs free, their's a raft of demo's no pgr though

and a lot of arcade download content, which will prolly go..

fired up...





Its a revelation..



in standard no disk guise, near on silence, a mere whisper from the fans...

Tried it with a disk in the drive.....




almost silent, its hardly any louder than with no disk in...


deffo gets the thumbs up on this aspect


re the chipset.... cant say there is no codename on the box / case anywhere..

it was manufactured in late July, thats all i know

You could have atleast rotated pic 1 and maybe number 3 I nearly broke my neck there

I like the sound of it being quieter.... it's amazing how loud you have the volume up on the tv to not here the std one (that's my excuse to the wife anyway)

Strangely enough, the elite sounds noisier than the premium, (i think)

but it isnt, i can assure you...

Interesting on the lack of noise where (apart from the rongs of doom) I think the 360 is really let down!
I'm gonna wait for the Elite features to filter down to the premiums before contemplating 'upgrading' from my launch day machine.
That rear shot, doesn't seem like there's anywhere to clip the wireless adaptor to? or have they released a specific black one of those as well?
