I was reading this all unfold yesterday. It's pretty amazing. Sales of bricked/faulty PSP's on ebay have gone right up now, with "PSP Unbricking Firms" 
buying them all to sell on.
Its a shame it got leaked early, due to someone stealing the information and trying to sell it. But I don't think Sony will have time to sort out the new PSP slims that are awaiting their release early september. Because this is an all version downgrader now.
