Had a right good session last night. Highlights included:

1) Machine gun frenzy
2) Low grav jeepathon
3) Air Ninja (started to die due to lack of players)

And my cool cheat to jump up a floor on Vertigo and shoot some unsuspecting person in the back of the head was also rather funny.

yeah wasnt to bad.

i seem to have 1 map where i do ok and dont suffer lag.

rest of the evening its just lag / ping / aimbotters

saw it was quite busy towards 11 but i'd had enough and would have got grief if i'd come back to play.

i'll be on tonite cos its my last session for over a week tonite

Twas a good sesh last night. Got some Flush Entry rubbish/lag sometimes, which was bloody annoying as all you could do was take a guestimate as to where someone would appear & hope that you would see them & fire before the screen froze again Got a couple of kills that way but most of the time I imagine people wandering up wondering WTF I was doing, casually put a gun to my head & blowing my brains out It's not nice when you're running down a corridor, the screen freezes and when it unfreezes, you're lying on your back dead

Also unable to download airninja for some reason, jolt wouldn't let me ftp

Couldnlt beleive it when I rushed the ladder on Vertigo with a grenade only to be shot int he back, turned just in time to see some T camped at the other end. A true "WTF Are you Doing Here" moment straightout of Lock Stock Oh for the power of RCON

It took a couple of minutes just to get in the Jeeps. Hadn't played Air Ninja before. Think with enough players could be a great laugh.

My 2Hr disconnect came around and kicked me off. For some reason C/S has a real problem with it. My Linux ISDN box rdials instantly and browins works fine with barely a glitch. I think WON sees 2 IP addresses using the same WONID and wont let me rejoin. I seem to have to wait about 10 mins for it to clear. Anyone know if WON has an IP address/WonID timeout ? So I called it a night.

Only managed to join at 23:00 last night but had a laugh until 00:30. Airninja is a laugh as a Terrorist but I imagine it's bl00dy annoying as a CT?

Who else was a T in the airship when I managed to fly it to the ct roof ? I've no idea how I steered it onto there (or do you even steer it) I flew around for a while and then looked out the door just as we were about to touch down, was expecting a Hindenburg episode so jumped for it and only lost about 4 hp

Jeepathon was a laugh, low grav jeep jumps, dukes of hazzard stylee !

Anybody played AWP_MAP ? Thats also good for a laugh when you've only a few people, maybe add it to the server Mike ?

Being a CT on that airninja level was absolute cack, I was not bothered about killing anyone I just wanted to have a go in the airship but some AWP lamer (ummm Norm ) kept shooting me!!!!! I did touch a hangglider but bounced off it to my death

The airship follows a set route and lands behind the building. It tends to be best to bail off as its flying along side the building, and hop onto the roof.

This map has two elements of HL in it:

1) As a T, you can pick up one of those suits that Freeman has near the start
2) As a CT you can go to the firstaid point and repair yourself


I wanna have a play at sniperfortress next, never played it, but love AWP's

Next question.... anyone ever done any mapping at this? I fancy taking something like de_dust and changing it around a bit. OR a few of us could build a map together. Im sure its hard work, but we could do a scooby map

Can we have a go at this map, I have played it on a UK2 server but got banned for killing too many noob moaners. The glass in the middle is unbreakable and basically you can either use the grenades to blow seven shades of crap outta the other team or you can also shoot through the glass. It is hilarious as it is absolute carnage but you can only really play it for a couple of mins.

A ha. Splendid, my new H.Potter cloak of invisibility worked then. Not one of you saw me last night.

Because 'er indoors spent yonks doing a poster in MS publisher, then got "illegal function" message when she tried to save it. I recovered the text in the .tmp file, but couldn't reapply the "style" to it for some reason.

Oh well also had a breadmaking failure so had to do another loaf, nearly 1:00 am when I got to bed and hadn't presses a key in anger!

that looks a good map that altered dust one.

good thing about dust is its a gr8 map for not many people.

ie 3v3 is good whereas dust 2 is no good with that few even though its a nice map.

not many maps where 6 of u can play without one side getting an advantage.

still with our increasing numbers maybe that wont be a problem now !!
