Question Psp power problem help!!

Hi anyone had this problem??
psp wont turn on,but charge light comes on when plug'd in mains.not been flashed or anything completely stock.....battery fine(try'd on other psp)
help??

Does the switch spring back when you push it up? could be a dodgy switch.
Without the charger in it, does it turn on, but the screen stays black and the green light is on?

switch feels fine still springs back,just doesnt turn on.no green light no sound no picture...but does charge when pluged in(orange light comes on) hmm??

take the battery out, then plug it into the mains and try to turn it on then. If that works, battery is completely dead.

cheers but already done that,and try'd switching on with out battery & just mains but no luck..

From the original post, the battery works in another PSP, so it's unlikely to be that.

Could be any number of problems. I would contact Sony.

Oh yeah, I forgot you already mentioned the battery works in another PSP.
How about the green light I mentioned, does it come on at all?

Yup - speak to Sony - too many variables as to what it could be.
