Got given an AMD Athlon with 512MB DDR.
Will I notice the difference if I buy another 512MB?

Got a spare slot and Play.com are doing some quite cheap.

Yep, the more RAM the better, and if you're running xp or vista 1 gig sbe a minimum anyways.

as de man says - don't skimp on RAM on eithe quantity or quality, its one of the siingle most important components in your system
