My daughter has spent the day typing up a long address list which she mailed me so I can use on address labels.
Trouble is the list seems to default to double spacing and there seems nothing she or I can do to get it to single spacing (so an address fits on a label).
I have tried highlighting and then hitting single space button on tool bar but that is ignored. I can't see anything on Page Setup that will do it.
Help please. Any comments about using bigger labels will be treated with contempt

Word is evil and was created by Microsoft Black Ops. The only software more evil than Word is Visio (Word's evil cousin). Remember, next time you're using numbered or bulleted lists and the indentation changes randomly that they want you to cry, DON'T LET THEM WIN!
For people like you there is openoffice.org
Same bugs and annoyances...but its free

And to add to my troubles I had given my daughter a link to an Avery Label format download so she could do the labels I wanted which had worked well on my Windows XP system.
But after struggling for an hour the download still wouldn't function - reason my gal has a new laptop using Vista
Avery promised to investigate and get back to us. Ha, ha.
Anyone else had this? d

Outlook 2003 with Word as your e-mail editor = cranial infarction. And I'm an IT Professional (whatver that means)
