Looks stunning. Not sure what else it achieves but certainly wets the appetite again.

Has to have damage though!!

Looking forward to having a play with this one. Looks pretty, but the cars do look like plastic models rather than metal...

Now that looks stunning!
Are they going to have incar views then? the detail looks great. I see Polyphony have gone down the heathaze on everything in the distance whereas Turn10 went for Mirroreffect(tm) in Forza 2.

The graphics are considerably better than Forza 2, but they really need to add damage.

Nice looking rendered footage

I'll comment further when I see actual ingame footage instead of hype building replays

As for it looking better than Forza 2... Forza 2 is here and can be played now!

Out of interest, for the XBOX360 owners, what's the max number of cars that can participate in a race in Forza 2?

Just curious

Not sure if its rendered footage, have a look at the trees by the side of the track when it switches to the overhead view.

the footage impresses me but as said it doesn't show anything really does it. It's the same old GT bollox as before. A lot will fall for it though. The football an analogy is In the Shirt, On the Pitch.

GT4 replays looked amazing on the PS2 .... I just don't see what this does for anyone ?

no in game and no damage yet. I'm not bashing the PS3 just that they spoon feed you this little bit of tat from a prolouge game (the oh **** this is going to take till 2009 edition) and everyone jumps to say this is better than Forza 2

I feel sorry for you PS3 owners because of the way Sony stamp on you all the time. But you seem to love it ?

Being a pc gamer aswell, i`d rather wait and have a game that works with no bugs. Than one that needs patching within weeks of it coming out because there is a major fault with it.

It's a lot harder to write "problem free" code for the pc than it is for the consoles. PC architecture means that you have to code for practically any combination of hardware specifications / driver versions etc. With the consoles it's a set hardware spec, with set drivers etc, so in theory it should be a lot easier, and there are less excuses for releasing buggy code...

Seems GT5's big selling point will be its multi-player, as well as the improved eye-candy.

So, those who have played Forza and PGR - from a multi-player onlne perspective , is there anything GT5 can bring to the party that's lacking in those games ?

Whats the big fascination with damage. Peronally i buy a racing game to race cars. If i wanted to see damage i'd buy destruction derby of somthing similar.

Don't just think about one sense Jeff, the damage in Forza adds feel and sound.

The GT5 trailer shows the same circuit as forza2, the same cars as both forza2 and pgr3/4 so why would you want to play the same game over again?

Developers need to come up with something new and interesting, like Bizarre adding bikes to pgr4, otherwise the car games are gonna go down the same route as fifa/tony hawks, same game prettier graphics each year.

LoL I love Fanboys

The Funny thing to me is that GT5 SHOULD look bettter. The console is over a year newer in the tech stakes and the game has been in development for what feels like the last 10 years. I hope it looks better because I'm a Gamer not a Fanboy and look forward to every aspect of gaming being pushed forward.

I'm happy playing Forza 2 now on my 100" 1080 screen. But hey if getting all hot under the collar about a trailer is your thing then who am I to tell you what to do

Agreed on that Ed. One of the few driving style games that I've actually felt compelled to finished. Great game despite the odd bug / glitch

Possibly, but I'd driven most of them anyway looking for the delivery missions
