Are NTL/VM having problems with their PID registration system?

A friend suddenly lost their connection and I went round to have a look, managed to finally get onto the router and get Vista all set up but now whenever you go to a website it comes up with the green and white screen that asks for a PID and password. We've obviously put in the wrong pwd 3 times so now the PID is locked.

Getting this unlocked is not proving easy. I was there Monday night and they still have nothing.

Any top tips from within the inner circle?
