Receiving mail problems with Windows Mail
The migration to the new PC went off without a hitch but I cannot for the life of me get e-mail to friggin' well work.
I've gone from Outlook Express to Windows Mail which for all intents and purposes looks and works exactly the same with the exception of 'Identities' which has been removed in the new version.
I've copied the settings exactly as there were in Express. I can send mail OK but when I sync to receive mail I get a Windows Security dialogue box coming up to check my credentials (although these have already been lodged in Tools> Accounts). I re-enter my user name and password and I get into this godawful spiral. It's doing my head in!
What's to do chaps?
TIA
Cheers

go into advanced options - there should be a tick box which says something along the lines of "send emails using the same security settings as receiving emails"
