Default Watching Films on the TV

That I have on my laptop.

They are in AVI and to convert to DVD campatable MP4 takes hours and I have never successfully (spelling) managed to do one yet.

Is there a device that will plug into the laptop either usb or a card that i can buy that will link the laptop monitor to the TV screen?

If not, does anybody know of a good video file converter, I'm using smart DVD creator pro at the moment.

Thanks for any help.

Lidl (really), had a DVD player that would play DivX files for £29.99 this week. Or an Xbox. It is painful to get an image from your laptop to the TV and even more painful (as you've found) to convert the DivX to DVD.

Convert em to DVD with convertx2dvd, one click process, and never failed me yet. Any conversion will take time though.
