Default creating email contact us form for website

Trying to do one in expression web but am having difficulties doing it. Created one using aspx page (is this correct first off?) the other pages are htm.

All seems to work when its on its own (afaiu its supposed to connect to asp.net development sever when testing) but when ive published it, it doesnt have any of the boxes or send button just the titles.

Havent really seen any tutorials on doing this from the start to publishing...anyone seen any? I looked at the SN one to do just a name, email, msg form but cant figure it out....

just google "mailto example" for some sample code - nothing special needed, just plain old HTML

Where are you publishing it to? Are you sure they support asp.net ?

the server does asp.net but not v2

ive tried it myself and one i found which was in v2 but im guessing that needs some alteration
Everything has be dynamically created (htm pages) but to create a form like this has to be a aspx page. Doesnt seem so straight forward merging the two together, getting the form code into a previously created htm page that contains the header & footer etc

Yeah, sending email from v1.1 is different to 2. PM me what you need and I'll build you a little sample. It'll be in VB though, cant be hacking that C# tripe.

read that wrong. the hosting supports asp.net 1.1 but its not enabled on my account only asp. Again coding for asp is probably somewhat different to asp.net
