I have downloaded 30-40Gb torrents before now, takes a few days/upto a week but gets there in the end

If it stays at 20kbps you're looking at about 2 weeks
At 256Kb it would take 317 hrs 42mins 30secs, so 13 and a quarter days.

I'd select a couple of eps at a time to download. No point downloading it all in one go.

if your torrenting on XP or VISTA - have you run the fix to unlimit your number of inbound /outbound connections?

Depends where you are getting it from as most of the torrent sites i use they say on the screen where you click download what info is in the package.
