Does it still have the original DELL service tag number?
If so, browse to the DELL website, enter the number into the Support/Drivers and Downloads section (Choose by Service Tag) and all that you need should be there!!

As Boomer says, if you can get to the internet at all (from a different PC, I assume you have internet as your posting on Scoobynet lol) go to Dell's website, you dont need the original service tag, but it does make it slightly easier, as you dont have to browse for your make and model then

You need to download all of the drivers for those from the dell website, which I am assuming you have now,
Cant you burn them to a CD and then copy them to the Dell and install them
Thats what I have done in the past

they wont be idential for example
ethernet controller > lan driver
usb controller > SM bus controller or similar
pci modem > should be similar
video controller > Graphics card drivers
02micro smart cardbus reader > cardbus i guess should be in the title somewhere

Dell can ship resource CD's with their laptops if you tick the box when you spec it. This has all the drivers and apps on it. Better still for you would be the restore disk which rebuilds the laptops with drivers and sometimes apps intact, you could also copy it onto a USB pen if you have found lying around

to be sure you are getting the exact drivers for your model, enter the service tag into the download section and download every file (eg.R12345.exe) thats listed to cd then install everyone on of them. this will work assuming all the hardware components work.
dell now charge to include driver cd which is a ripoff. download the dozen or so yourself, its very simple
